In house patent paralegal position in Palo Alto! Immediate temporary-to-possible hire opportunity.
Specific duties will include: Filing patent applications with the US PTO and other IP matters as they arise, docketing US and foreign prosecution actions and updating attorney dockets as required. Maintain knowledge of USPTO rules, as well as interface with outside law firms regarding patent applications as needed by attorney. Provide administrative support to attorneys and agents as needed, and assisting with special projects. Ability to work in CPI software a must.
Requirements:
-Minimum 3+ years experience as an Patent Administrator / Paralegal
-Strong computer and internet research skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
-Knowledge of docketing software applications, CPI
